CCA Schedule

Introduction

The Floorball CCA offers students the opportunity to learn and enjoy a dynamic team sport in a supportive and structured environment. Aligned with MOE Physical Education outcomes, the CCA develops students’ fundamental movement skills, physical fitness, and understanding of game rules and safety practices.

Through progressive training sessions, students learn essential floorball skills such as stick handling, passing, shooting, and game play. Participation in team-based activities helps to improve coordination, agility, endurance, and spatial awareness, while encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle.

The Floorball CCA also supports students’ Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) by fostering teamwork, self-discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship. Students learn to work collaboratively with peers, manage emotions during play, and show respect for others. Opportunities for friendly matches and competitions allow students to apply these skills meaningfully and build confidence.
